Hey Buns!
I’ve been feeling under the weather these last few days but I want to post more from my Halloween series. This time I want to talk 90s Halloween Movies!
Did you enjoy 90s movies as a kid? The scary Halloween ones stepped up a lot in terms of visuals since the 70s and 80s. But I also noticed that a lot of movies were more family appropriate. Surprisingly many were from Disney!
Here are the movies I like to recommend for Halloween.
- Edward Scissorhands
An artificial man, who was incompletely constructed and has scissors for hands, leads a solitary life. Then one day, a suburban lady meets him and introduces him to her world.
- Under Wraps
Three kids accidentally re-animate a mummy on Halloween.
- Casper Meets Wendy
Casper, a ghost, teams up with Wendy, a witch, against an evil warlock.
- Hocus Pocus
A curious youngster moves to Salem, where he struggles to fit in before awakening a trio of diabolical witches that were executed in the 17th century.
- The Nightmare Before Christmas
Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home causes confusion.
- Halloweentown
After learning she is a witch, a girl helps save a town full of other supernatural creatures.
- The Addams Family
Con artists plan to fleece an eccentric family using an accomplice who claims to be their long-lost uncle.
- The Halloween Tree
Four children learn the origins of Halloween customs while trying to save the life of their friend.
- The Craft
A newcomer to a Catholic prep high school falls in with a trio of outcast teenage girls who practice witchcraft, and they all soon conjure up various spells and curses against those who anger them.
- Tower of Terror
A disgraced reporter investigates an abandoned luxury hotel where five people mysteriously disappeared sixty years earlier.
