#1:✩Fighting Back. Gal Style.✩

Hey Buns,

I have been trying to find out why life always seems to go against you the most right before the holidays. Like things happen all year long but a lot of things seem to like happening before the end. And at once. Why?

It ends up getting me down, whether it’s stuff that happens in the world or personal matters. But eventually, I get tired of being upset or sorry for myself. Then I have to start the climb back to a better frame of mind.

For a lot of people, doing that means being with those that they love. Curling up with their favorite food and/or watch a good show or movie. Retail therapy. Doing peaceful activities. Or even going to their favorite places.

What do I do?

Depending on the severity of my mood, I do a combo of a lot of those things. But one thing I make sure to do is put my Gal “armor” on. I don’t know what it is about dressing up or doing my makeup all in Gal style, but it makes me feel a bit more confident. Especially when I do Kuro. I’m normally just in the mood of a sweeter look, or at least that’s what my basic look seems to be to other people. But when in Kuro, I just feel so BA. My attitude changes and I can’t wait to take on the world. Ready to fight back anyone or anything that will try to mess with me.

It’s really like battle armor to defend against the negativity that you have to keep dealing with. You just want to be heard, feel important or just to keep away unwanted things. Whatever you have to fight, no matter how much you want to give up, don’t.

It’s hard to keep telling myself that, time after time. Maybe one day, I won’t have to tell myself that. Maybe days will be sunnier and filled with the life I feel I deserve.

What do you do to fight back?

  1. The way you present yourself really can have a big effect on how you feel! Sometimes I wear darker styles to keep others away and feel stronger myself XD Usually when I wear sweeter styles, strangers will openly say something -_-;;

    Hope things turn out well for you!
